Commercial law - Sale of goods, shipping, bailment
The rights and duties arising from the sale and supply of goods and services in the way of trade lie at the very heart of commercial law. Key considerations are the ordering of goods and the contract between seller and buyer; modes of transportation; the protection against hazards of transportation, by sea, air or land; and the commercial and legal allocation of risk.
Members have experience at all levels of disputes concerning the sale and carriage of goods under the relevant international Conventions, as well as disputes concerning warehousing and bailment.
