International law
4-5 Gray’s Inn Square is a leading set in this area, with expertise in both public and private international law. Members of Chambers advise and represent clients in a variety of disputes involving international law such as boundary disputes, state immunity and the application of the Brussels/Lugano Convention. We advise governments, individuals and commercial organizations, and frequently receive instructions from clients in other jurisdictions.
We regularly appear before both domestic and international courts, including tribunals such as the International Tribunal on the Law of the Sea. We also appear before domestic courts in other jurisdictions.
A number of members of Chambers have written extensively and lectured widely in this area, and one member of Chambers is currently the Vice-President of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
